Acclaimed in 2010 by the Frankfurter Neue Press as 'one of the most talented young
musicians to emerge from the UK' Stephen Beville is a true artist, pianist and composer. He has performed throughout Britain and Germany; his playing broadcast on South-West German (SWR) and South-West British Radio stations. As pianist, his interpretations have been compared to those of Arrau, Rubinstein and Emmanuel Ax
(Fanfare). Beville began to learn piano and compose at the age of eleven (making his concerto debut while still at school) and studied at the Junior Academy (Royal Academy of Music) in London. He subsequently enrolled at the University of
Huddersfield, Royal Northern College of Music, and the Hochschule fur Musik in Karlsruhe (Germany) winning numerous awards and prizes, including Professional Performance Diplomas with Distinction, and a DAAD Scholarship. Beville has performed and been performed widely.
Stephen will be be playing three Beethoven Sonatas including the Pathetique, the Hammerklavier and the Sonata in D, Op 10 No 3.
